Satyanarayan Puja Vidhi – सत्यनारायण पूजा विधि

Satyanarayan Puja is performed with complete faith in Lord Vishnu. It is often performed in the Evening Time, but it can also be performed in the early morning or during the day.

On the day of Satyanarayan Puja, Devotees have to Fast and Puja can only be performed after taking the bath.

Lord Vishnu should be worshiped once a month on a full moon or Sankranti. The Satyanarayan Puja tells the importance of truth in life. On this day, take a bath and wear new or washed clothes. Apply tilak on the forehead. Now start worshiping with the name of Lord Ganesha.

Satyanarayan Puja Vidhi

1. Devotees should take the bath before the Puja, to clean and purify the Body, mind and soul.
2. Create a Mandala to Put the Idol of Lord Satyanarayan or Lord Ganesha.
3. Apply Tilak on the forehead.
4. Now, start worshiping with the name of Lord Ganesha.
5. Perform Lord Ganesha Puja along with the Jaap.
6. Perform the Satyanarayan Puja along with the Aarti and Mantra.
7. Hear all the 271 stanza of Satyanarayan Katha.
8. Perform the Hawan.
9. Fast till distributing the Prashad.

सत्यनारायण पूजा विधि

व्रत करने वाला पूर्णिमा व संक्रान्ति के दिन प्रातः अथवा सांयकाल को स्नानादि से निवृत्ति हो कर पूजास्थान में आसन पर बैठकर श्रद्धापूर्वक श्री गणेश, गौरी, वरूण, विष्ण आदि सब देवताओं का ध्यान करके पूजन करे और संकल्प करे कि मैं सत्यनारायण स्वामी का पूजन तथा कथा-श्रवण सदैव करूंगा।

पुष्प हाथ में लेकर नारायण का ध्यान करें, यज्ञोपवीत, पुष्प, धूप, नैवेद्य आदि से युक्त होकर स्तुति करे-हे भगवान् मैंने श्रद्धापूर्वक फल, जल आदि सब सामग्री आपको अर्पण की है, इसे स्वीकार कीजिए। मेरा आपको बारम्बार नमस्कार है। इसके बाद सत्यनारायण जी की कथा पढ़े अथवा श्रवण करे।
